Tonight is a total and complete repudiation of the chaos, corruption, and cruelty this Administration has unleashed on our country.

I am proud to serve FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE.
As a New Mexican, it’s my honor & joy to be able to fight for our communities every single day in New Mexico and in Washington, DC.
I am honored to carry your stories, resilience, & dreams for the future & to fight for New Mexico every single day!
Happy Halloween! 🎃 Don’t forget to grab a friend and go vote! Today is the last day for early voting in New Mexico!!
Happy Friday, Everyone!
Your most important update for the week: GO OUT & VOTE!
Early voting is still open all across New Mexico! Get out, make a plan, & exercise your right to vote! Tomorrow is your last chance to vote early before Election Day on Tuesday.
If the Pope can vote early, so can you!
Follow the money. Crack down on corruption. Hold them accountable. That is exactly what we’re doing in the House Oversight Committee—especially as we’re working to restore guardrails to our democracy.
Today, we gathered in the Old Town Plaza with state and local leaders to honor New Mexico’s own icon, mother of the movement, and a daughter of New Mexico: Dolores Huerta.
May we honor her legacy with a lifetime of action fighting for labor, equal rights, and a better tomorrow for all people. ❤️
Devastated to learn of the passing of New Mexico’s own, Dolores Huerta.
A friend. A mentor. A real life super hero. Dolores helped organize a movement that changed our country. From farmworkers to working families, women, & communities whose voices were often ignored, she was a voice for change.
Representing New Mexico’s 1st Congressional District also means representing and caring for our furriest friends and constituents too. 🐾❤️
Friends – there is so much going on right now – from the election, to catastrophic flooding, cyber attacks, Epstein investigations, and so much more. Here is your update on all the things and your daily reminder to get out and vote! ⬇️🍁🎃

Rep. Stansbury Shares Democrats’ Plans to Protect Election, updates from New Mexico
YouTube video by Rep. Melanie Stansbury
As currently drafted, I am strongly opposed to the Senate permitting deal (S. 5653) ⬇️
Every single day we are proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ Community and some of the bravest, most creative, and resilient people we know! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Every day, I get to serve with the real-life Wonder Women transforming our political landscape—in Congress, in New Mexico, and in our communities!
We love our Land Grants! From Chilili, to Carnuel, Tajique and Torreón to Tomé, Anton Chico to Las Huertas and Manzano—New Mexico’s land grants are the keepers of generations of tradition, stewardship, and connection to the places that have sustained families for centuries.
To all of our friends in the Four Corners being impacted by these floods please stay safe, follow evacuation orders, and take care!
As someone who was born in Farmington, just one block from the San Juan River, my heart is breaking to see the flooding in so many of our communities.
Keep Melanie A. Stansbury on your Home Screen, and hear news first with notifications.
